History
Eltham North Soccer Club fields a Premier League Women's team in the Victorian wide Premier League competition. To reach this level teams must progress through the various divisions to finally gain promotion to the elite level. There are approximately 80 womens teams and 30 girls teams playing soccer in Victoria.
In 1997 Eltham put together an under 16 girls team, made up of sisters who where watching their brothers play. The same group of girls have progressed over the years through the divisions to a stage where in 2002 we won promotion to the Premier League.
In our Area (Diamond Valley) our club has been instrumental in bringing Women's Soccer to the fore and are the only team of any code playing at an elite level in Victoria. We Currently field 3 junior girls teams and our Premier Squad (First's and Reserves).
Senior team is made up of players ranging in age from 15 to 24. We have 2 Players in the Victoria Under 17 Team and 1 in the Victoria Vision (this is the state team that plays in the Summer National Women's League). We are proud of our efforts over the last few years which in no small part has been helped by sponsors.
